This solo piano album by the late Professor Longhair is an undeservedly unknown gem. Originally recorded in 1979 for a Canadian radio station, it took almost twenty years to get it released, but it was still worth the wait. The record contains solo piano pieces and spoken interviews (no vocals), and it gives great insight into the music and mind of one of America's true originals.
