What started as a project for fun between 2 friends has turned into a band who is resurrecting the bygone times of Free, Thin Lizzy and The Faces. Stone Axe is an eight legged rawk monster whose short but sweet live sets are burning up the stages with there own brand of the 1970s. The band is the brain child of Mos Generator's Tony Reed and Port Orchard's Dru Brinkerhoff. The band's self titled first album is receiving raving reviews from the underground and those lucky enough to see them live are treated to the kind of rock show that hasn't been seen in a long time.
