Cashbox is a southern rock band with ties in many different styles of music. With awesome vocals, tight guitars, and steady drums, they are looking to bring back southern rock! Sounds like Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special, ACDC, and Georgia Satellites.Cashbox was formed in 2006 by drummer Michael Murphy and bass player Jeremy Payne. After jamming together for a couple of months, they sought out a singer, and found Andrew Brannon. In 2007 they added guitar player Tyler Chambers, and Cashbox was almost complete. After almost 4 years of searching, and never willing to just settle, Cashbox accidentally stumbled upon LB Abernathy on lead guitar. This forced the band to evolve and challenged them to create an even more unique and refined sound. With roots in gospel, country, rock, southern rock, blues, and several other types of music, Cashbox consistently refines their music to reflect their unique sound.
