Racky Thomas Band - 2002 - Live At The Yardrock [320]

Live at The Yardrock captures the band doing what they do best, live and in the moment, playing to an enthusiastic audience and letting it all hang out. Nick Adams on guitar tears it up throughout this set, which also features stellar performances from Jeremy Berlin on piano, along with the rest of the band, as well as a special guest appearance by Gordon Beadle on tenor saxophone.

Racky Thomas Band - 2002 - Troubled All The Time [224]

This is an amazingly authentic band with lots of grit and soul. Led by George, ''Racky'' Thomas, who sings with unaffected ease & blows powerful high compression harp, the band sounds like they have been together for years. Guitarist Nick Adams plays sympathetic to the songs and never overstays his welcome while drummer Jon Ross hits the skins with soul & restraint. All but one of the songs are originals but sound like they come from years before. The band has talent on many different levels and special guest guitarist Troy Gonyea adds fire to 3 of the tunes.

Racky Thomas Band - 1998 - Last Of The Big Spenders [224]

This is the bands first release from 1998 and is a great example of contemporary blues sounds. A first rate, soulful singer and harp player, Racky has an excess of talent in the songwriting department along with collaborator & bassist Todd Carson. After a decade of playing around the Boston area, the band has been building an audience along the east coast and developing into a fine traditional band.
