Bassist and songwriter Johnny Dunn heads up The Dare Ya Blues Band, who have released an EP-length CD entitled Room To Move. Dunn, who also plays some guitar on the album, leaves the fiery blues leads in the capable hands of Kane Daily. Daily offers his take on blues-box solos, lending snaky slide leads and overdriven, blues-drenched-but-edgy runs to the material. Highlights include the memorable title track, the Allman Brothers flavored instrumentals "Outerbanks" and "Dreams" and the aggressive "Life On The Chin". A likeable blues album which hopes to introduce Dunn and company to a wider audience.
