Reidar Larsen is Norwegian blues pianist, singer and composer, known as Mr. Blues or Norway's uncrowned king of the blues. He was born in Oslo in 1955, moved to Stavanger when he was 5 years old. As the son of a piano builder it was probably almost natural to take piano lessons from ca. 7 years of age. His blues career began in 1980 when he formed Reidar Larsen Blues Quartet. In 1982 he debuted his solo album I'm a Bluesman. Today he has behind him 12 albums, participation in a number of other publications and ca.100 concerts annually for many years. And perhaps there has not been more attention and positive response than right now.(Full Covers)
