The Chicago Blues Angels was formed by Armando Cortez (guitar) and Dave Gonzalez (vocals/harmonica) during the summer of 2000 and joined by guitarist Kate Hoddinott. Their mutual blues influences (Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Little Walter, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Magic Sam, Muddy Waters, Eddie Taylor, James Cotton, among many others) fueled the motivation to start playing together in and around Chicago.(Full Covers)
