Mick Abrahams featured on Jethro Tull's first two albums before he split to form the first incarnation of Blodwyn Pig in 1969. 'Lies' recorded in '93 by B.P. mach 9 is a more soulful affair with the band leaving porgressive and jazz behind. Apart from the title track, there's a ton of R&B-styled material here including covers of songs by Doc Pomus and Dr. John.

thanks for the bloodwyn pig cd. If by chance you have the one where Mick Abrahams has the former JT band menbers on it I've looking for tha for a long time. I think he called the band "this was" a take off on the JT album. Antway thanks for all the grat music.
